8-31-251st Peter Intro Part II

Who was Peter in the Bible, many people recognize him as the one who denied Christ and that is true. Peter was the type of guy who always seemed to get his mouth out in front of his brain. It isn't that Peter didn't believe, he fully believed in Jesus, he fully trusted in Jesus, he truly followed Jesus, but his weak spirit sometimes would get in the way and would cause him trouble. People today are like the Peter of the world, especially those in the church. There's many in the church who like Peter believed it in Jesus, they trust in Jesus, they have all the desires to follow Jesus, but there's a weakness of heart and you can end up denying Christ such as Peter did. This is the true human weakness that we have.
