Snow White Finds SUCCESS on Streaming | Disney+ Hurt the Box Office

Disney’s live-action remake of Snow White is finding success on Disney+ and this could be a a factor as to why the movie failed at the box office.

Snow White became one of the biggest box office bombs in the company’s history and there are many reasons why that is the case, but now that the movie is available to watch for free at home people are showing an interest. This suggests one of two things, either the bad reputation has created an interest where it wouldn’t have otherwise been, or people who were interested were not willing to pay to see it in theaters. We’ve seen something similar with other Disney movies since Disney often releases them shortly after their theatrical premiere. This has conditioned people on the fence about a movie to just wait a little longer to watch it.
