“THE GLORIOUS NAMES OF GOD” - Part 4 (We Behold His Majesty!)

In a commentary written for “Endure” Ministries they write: “As believers, it is important that we learn and study the Names of God as revealed by His Word. In Psalm 9:10, it is written that: “And those who know your name, put their trust in You. For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.”

And while “Jehovah” or “Yahweh” is the most common and important Name for God, there are hundreds more Names for Him in Scripture. Each one describes a particular characteristic or attribute of God. Therefore, they help us to understand more fully His power, wonder, and might. They describe Who He is, what He does, and how He moves in our lives.

But most of all, it brings us more fully into worship of Him – the Great I AM – the Mighty and Everlasting God – our Savior, Master, Lord and King!
