Technique of the Week- Mobility Monday: Glute Bridge
Many people workout and do strength and cardio training. However, I’ve noticed that many people either forgo mobility and flexibility or do very little of it. These components are essential, especially as we age. In the following weeks, we’ll be posting a mobility or flexibility movement every Monday. Enjoy!
Lay flat on your back and drive through your heals as you contract your upper back muscles and drive your hips toward the ceiling. There are palm up, palm down and ankle grab variations. Leverage time under tension and strengthen the posterior chain and increase your mobility.
