Fire in the Sky is a sci-fi thriller based on the real-life 1975 alien abduction case of Travis Walton in Snowflake, Arizona. The film follows a group of loggers who witness a strange light in the forest while driving home after work. When Walton steps out of the truck to investigate, he is struck by a mysterious beam of light from a UFO and disappears.

His friends report the incident, but their story is met with disbelief, suspicion, and accusations of foul play. As police and townspeople question their accounts, the men struggle with fear and guilt—until Walton suddenly reappears days later, traumatized and forever changed.
