What God Says to You

Welcome to Wake Up!

Write it. Make it plain. Live it daily.
Today Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly unpack Habakkuk 2:2, why God told Habakkuk to write the vision and make it plain and how that same instruction can shape your home, your mindset, and your week. We talk Babylonian-era context, how God reassures His people in dark seasons, and super-practical ways to post God’s Word where you’ll see it (phone lock screen, fridge, chalkboard, car dashboard).

You’ll hear our family examples, confessions we speak over our kids, “The Andersons are…” declarations, and that simple daily reset: “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” We also pivot to Psalm 77:10 (“Then I thought…”) to show how shifting your thoughts from despair to God’s track record rebuilds hope fast.

Try this week:

Write a 1-sentence vision for the battle you’re facing.

Put it where you’ll read it morning/noon/night.

Teach a simple family confession and speak it together.

Share your vision line in the comments, we read them on Wednesdays!
