Break the Chains of Newspeak.
heloav8er
"Break the Chains of Newspeak" is a folk-rock protest song inspired by Orwell’s *1984*, decrying Newspeak’s linguistic control and the "woke narrative’s" social censorship. It champions the First Amendment, guarded by the Second, as a defense against tyranny and dogma. With gritty vocals and rousing choruses, it urges resistance to preserve free speech and truth.

The Big-Word Boogie.
heloav8er
Get ready to tap your toes and tangle your tongue with The Big-Word Boogie, a rollicking pop-folk anthem that’s equal parts hilarity and heart! This catchy tune, bursting with a Mary Poppins-meets-Sweet Caroline vibe, takes you on a wild ride through the longest, zaniest words in literary history—like supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, and the thunderous bababadalgharaghtakamminarronnkonn. With jangly acoustic guitar, plinky piano, and a dash of country twang, it’s a sing-along showdown of Shakespearean jests, Joycean storms, and good ol’ faith-filled fun.
Our plucky narrator tries to flex their vocabulary but trips over these monstrous words, poking fun at “woke” school nonsense and dreaming of voucher-funded, truth-loving classrooms. The chorus—“Big words! (Big words!) Oh, they’re wild!”—is a fist-pumping, clap-along earworm that’ll have everyone from word nerds to churchgoers grinning. Perfect for a family hoedown, a conservative rally, or a literary karaoke night, this song celebrates simple values while laughing at linguistic lunacy. So grab your hymnbook, ditch the dictionary, and boogie to the beat of short words and big faith—in God we trust! 🎶

Fire, Fire, Mayday, Mayday.
heloav8er
Fire, Fire, Mayday, Mayday is an acoustic rock song inspired by a real-life helicopter mishap on April 10, 1981, as told by retired Navy ADCS and now retired Helicopter Pilot. Mark L. Watson in his 2003 Approach Magazine article. This song captures the raw intensity of a Navy SH-3G flight gone wrong—when a gearbox failure sparked a cabin fire mid-flight, forcing a crew of five into an unscripted fight for survival over the California desert near Mount Whitney. With no training manual for this emergency, the crew’s seamless teamwork shone through: the HAC autorotated to a hard landing, the copilot managed throttles and fuel cutoffs, the first crewman battled flames, the second crewman wielded the extinguisher, and Mark, a rookie rescue swimmer, held on through the chaos. Miraculously, all five walked away, crediting their survival to God’s grace. This song honors their courage, the lessons learned about gear and preparedness, and the divine intervention that brought them home. Paired with a gouache-style image of the SH-3G flying high over the desert with Mount Whitney in the backdrop, this track is a tribute to aviation brotherhood and faith in the face of fire.
