The Right to Prove Nothing.

In an age where identities are questioned, experiences doubted, and reputations attacked at the click of a button, it is easy to lose sight of a simple truth: we have no obligation to prove ourselves to those who hide behind anonymity.

Danny West’s refusal to accept my lived experience as genuine is a perfect example of this distortion. He claims that my military warrant card is fake, that my history is fabricated, and that my truth is a lie. But the facts speak for themselves: I have published my army number, shared my warrant card, displayed my passing out squad photo, and even revealed the details of where I was posted and which company I was part of. I have laid out my lived experience in a way that is transparent, open, and accountable.

Contrast this with Danny West. He asserts that he himself served 17 years in the army—a lengthy and distinguished claim, if true. Yet, he has shown no proof whatsoever. Not his full name. Not his face. Not a single shred of verifiable documentation. He remains faceless, nameless, and shielded by the cover of a YouTube alias.

And yet, despite his invisibility, he demands I prove myself to him. That is not only an absurd request—it is an insult.

The Burden of Proof.

When it comes to lived experience, the burden of proof does not lie with the individual living it. My service, my memories, and my records exist whether or not Danny West chooses to believe them. To constantly demand that I “prove myself” is to grant legitimacy to the very people who seek to undermine me.

Danny West has produced nothing. He has shared nothing. He has offered nothing but accusations. His entire argument rests not on evidence, but on denial. And yet he presumes to place me on trial, as if his disbelief is the standard by which truth must be measured.

Transparency vs. Anonymity.

The contrast could not be clearer:

I have put my face to my name.
I have published records, photographs, and details of my service.
I have been open and accountable.

Meanwhile, Danny West remains in the shadows, demanding validation while giving nothing of himself in return. He represents the very worst of online behaviour: the faceless pest who criticises, threatens vulnerable women, slanders, and undermines, all while refusing to hold himself to the same standard of honesty he demands of others.

Nothing to Prove.

The truth is this: I have nothing to prove to Danny West. I have spoken my truth, backed it with evidence, and lived it openly for all to see. My lived experience is not diminished by his refusal to accept it. His disbelief is irrelevant. His accusations, baseless. His demands, meaningless.

Danny West can continue to hide behind his pseudonym, slinging mud from the shadows. But his lack of proof speaks louder than any of his words.

At the end of the day, the principle is simple:

Those who live openly, have already proved themselves.
Those who hide, reveal only their cowardice.

And so I will not bend to the pestering of a faceless YouTube troll. My truth remains intact, whether Danny West accepts it or not.
