Nepal’s Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli has resigned, says his aide, after three of his ministers quit following deadly protests over alleged corruption by the government.
Defying curfew, protesters stormed the office of the country’s largest party, Nepali Congress, and the residences of several prominent politicians, a day after security forces killed 19 people.
The main international airport has been partially shut.
