Is It Too Easy to Become a Saint in the Modern Church?

As we celebrate the recent canonizations of Saints Carlos Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati, a called wonders if the postconciliar Church has gotten too lax with investigating causes for canonization. Is this true? Are saints usually as perfect as we suppose them to be?
