In this video, I wanted to continue to look at the book Loneliness: Human Nature and the Need for Social Connection and its authors’ directive, to the lonely individual, to either fix themselves or see a therapist. Despite identifying loneliness as a social phenomenon impacting millions of lives, the authors nevertheless conclude by simply pointing the finger at the individual—their thinking and behavior—as the problem.
