Scott has earned a reputation as a principled reformer who puts people before politics, whether fighting for affordable healthcare, improving education, or standing up for personal freedoms. A husband, father, and grandfather, Scott Jensen is running to restore truth, accountability, and balance to Minnesota. Scott began his career in politics when concerned about the direction of local schools, was elected to the Waconia School Board, where he served from 1993 to 2002 and earned a reputation for putting students first and asking tough questions.

In 2017, he brought that same independent spirit to the Minnesota Senate, quickly becoming known as a problem solver who challenged the political establishment.
