Israel Missile Strike Qatar

The Israeli military has carried out air strikes on Hamas leadership in the Qatari capital Doha. The group says senior members survived the attack. Hamas says five members of the group were killed. They had gathered to discuss the latest ceasefire proposal from the US. Qatar's interior ministry called it a cowardly attack and says a member of its security forces was also killed.

The White House has criticized the Israeli strikes on its ally, Qatar. Still, it stopped short of rebuking Israel for the attack. US President, Donald Trump says he regrets the location of the strike. But, in a statement the White House said that it believes eliminating Hamas - the target of the attack, is a worthy goal.
