Israel Strikes Another Gaza City Tower

Israeli forces intensified their assault on Gaza City, toppling the 14-storey Taiba 2 tower, once home to restaurants, NGOs and later hundreds of displaced families.
The strike hit a densely packed coastal area filled with tents, where residents were given less than an hour to flee, leaving behind food, supplies and bedding.
This marks the seventh major tower destroyed, turning Gaza’s skyline into what residents describe as a symbol of loss.
Israel has also issued new forced evacuation orders in northern Gaza City, including al-Nasr Street, ahead of a possible ground invasion.
Many Palestinians insist they have nowhere safe to go and have taken to the streets in protest.
Demonstrations, organized by community leaders, denounce Israel’s tactics as attempts to uproot them from their land.
Despite drones, airstrikes and explosions overhead, protests continue in defiance of the evacuations. The resilience of Gaza’s civilians stands in stark contrast to the devastation around them.

Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud joins live from Gaza City to discuss the latest updates.
