Persecution of the Saints: Celebrating Charlie Kirk

A True Warrior for Christ Charlie Was. This was not a man who cowered in fear or hid behind comfort, he willingly walked into the line of fire. A coward would have stayed silent to preserve his own safety, avoiding controversy, hiding behind excuses and compromising truth in order to save face and prolong life. A coward would have chosen to remain in the shadows, letting lies advance unchecked while pretending neutrality. But Charlie chose the opposite. He confronted evil daily, looked the adversary in the eye and stood with the fire of God burning within him. He knew the risks and he knew the hatred arrayed against him. Yet he feared not, because his faith outweighed his fear.

In the end, it may have cost him his physical life, but the truth is that was the will of God and He has called Charlie home. His mission was complete. He died with glory and honor giving all the glory to God. His boldness has not ended in defeat but in triumph, for heaven is right now celebrating his victory and courage, standign for truth no matter what the cost. Charlie joins the great cloud of witnesses who finished their race with endurance and received the crown of life promised to those who remain faithful unto death. Charlie is a text book example of a true warrior for God. A man not hoping for a pass on tribulation but chopping at the bit every day to confront the wicked. His example rebukes every doctrine of escape, for he did not seek to be taken out of the trials, he faced it head on and in so doing glorified God to the maximum by becoming a maryter for truth and God's Kingdom. Just as the apostles before him, he proved that true discipleship is not measured by how long one avoids suffering, but by how boldly one embraces it for the sake of truth.
