Retro Repair/Fix - PSOne Potentiometer/Laser/Motor

I recently found a PSOne Slim console that powers on, but it won't read discs. Come join me as we discover what we have to do to repair this thing so that it can read game discs again. ***SPOILER*** The magic number is around 950 ohms, mine was at 947 ohms.
