Eric Trump: “Charlie’s Death Proves We’re Under Siege”

D.C. (Dist. of Criminals), September 10, 2025 — In an emotional interview with Sean Hannity, Eric Trump reflected on the assassination of Charlie Kirk, calling it both a personal tragedy and proof of the escalating war against the America First movement.

Eric recalled meeting Kirk when he was only 21 years old, walking into the Trump Organization with “a couple of chapters and no funding,” but with a dream of creating a national movement. “He was larger than life,” Eric said. “And what he created over the last decade inspired millions of kids and reshaped American politics.”

The younger Trump described watching Charlie electrify college campuses across the country — even hostile ones — with his faith, patriotism, and relentless energy. “He loved God. He loved his family. He loved the red, white, and blue,” Eric said. “And then today, to see the blood gushing out of his neck — it’s traumatizing. And it’s enough. America won’t take this.”

Eric compared Kirk’s death to the assassination attempts on his father in Butler, Pennsylvania and later on a golf course. “First it was my father. Then it was Kavanaugh. Then Scalise. Now Charlie. We’ve seen enough. We’ve had enough. The bullets are only going one way.”

He also blasted the media for stoking hate, pointing directly at MSNBC. “When does the nonsense stop? When is there accountability from those who foster this hate every single day? It’s enough.”

Eric used the moment to highlight his new book Under Siege, written about the constant attacks on his father, his family, and the movement itself. “I said before Butler I wouldn’t be surprised if they resorted to violence. And that’s exactly what we’ve seen,” he told Hannity. “We are under siege. This has to stop or we will lose our democracy.”

The segment closed with Hannity agreeing that Charlie Kirk’s death is a breaking point for the nation. “Charlie was one of the nicest people you’d ever meet. He wanted the open exchange of ideas. And tonight, he is gone.”
