Operation SAFE in Tulsa: Officials Push Back on Governor Stitt’s Homelessness Plan

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has launched Operation SAFE (Swift Action for Families Everywhere), sending state troopers to clear homeless encampments from Tulsa’s state-owned property.

The plan offers unsheltered individuals two choices: a ride to housing or treatment facilities, or to jail.
