Wall Street Is Putting Stocks on the Blockchain

The 50 trillion dollar stock market is about to touch the blockchain 🚨

Nasdaq just filed with the SEC to tokenize stocks and ETFs. If this gets approved it won’t be some side experiment. Apple, Tesla, and Microsoft could eventually trade on chain right next to their regular shares.

The U.S. stock market is worth over 50 trillion dollars, almost 20x bigger than the entire crypto market today. Even if a small part of that moves on chain it would be historic. Faster settlements, lower costs, and global access are being built right now.

Nasdaq says the first tokenized trades could start in Q3 of 2026, so we’re still early. Remember, markets move on anticipation, not on the final announcement. The real opportunity is before it goes mainstream.
