Trump Reminds Everyone America Is the ‘Hottest’ Country in the World During 9

In between harrowing accounts of 9/11 victims, President Donald Trump reminded viewers on Thursday that the U.S. is the “hottest” country in the world.

Trump was in New York on Thursday morning to take part in a ceremony honoring the victims of the September 11 attacks. At the beginning of his speech, the president paid tribute to political commentator Charlie Kirk. The day before, Kirk was shot and killed at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University.

“Charlie was a giant of his generation, a champion of liberty and an inspiration to millions and millions of people,” Trump said before announcing that he’d posthumously award Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
