Britain's Labour government is intensifying its crackdown on opposition to Israel’s genocide –- as Prime Minister Keir Starmer just received Israeli President Isaac Herzog in Downing Street.

Some are placing renewed hope in Jeremy Corbyn, who is launching a new left-wing party. But as Asa Winstanley discusses, there are worrying indications that Corbyn and his team have learned none of the lessons from the Israel lobby's bogus "anti-Semitism" campaign that destroyed Corbyn's leadership of the Labour Party.

This is a segment from The Electronic Intifada's livestream on day 706 of the Gaza genocide. Ali Abunimah, Nora Barrows-Friedman, Jon Elmer and Asa Winstanley were joined by international human rights lawyer Craig Mokhiber and activist Sawsan Samara.
