Ministers of Righteousness vs. Ministers of Reconciliation | Job 18:5 Explained, KJV.

Job 18:5 says, “Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.” In this message, we examine the contrast between the counterfeit light of Satan and the true light of Jesus Christ.

Satan once bore light as Lucifer, but now he counterfeits as an “angel of light,” and his ministers show up as ministers of righteousness. Their sparks only give men more trouble, just as sparks fly upward from a dragon’s mouth.

But in contrast, the ministers of Jesus Christ are entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5). Our calling is not to impose self-righteousness, but to bring men back into fellowship with the One who is righteous — the Lord Jesus Christ, the Light of the World.

This study exposes the false sparks of religion, the empty righteousness of the devil, and the hope we have in the righteousness that God freely gives through Christ.
