New Video Shows Suspected Charlie Kirk Assassin Walking Toward Utah Valley University

OREM, Utah, September 11, 2025 — Newly released surveillance footage shows the suspected assassin of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk walking through a neighborhood toward Utah Valley University just minutes before the fatal shooting.

TMZ obtained the chilling video, timestamped 11:49 AM, which captures a man dressed entirely in black hobbling with a strange gait down a residential street in Orem, Utah. FBI officials confirmed the suspect arrived on campus at 11:52 AM, less than three minutes later, where Kirk was assassinated during a Q&A event.

Authorities believe the limp may have been caused by the weight of the weapon concealed beneath his clothing. Investigators recovered a Mauser .30-06 bolt-action rifle in a wooded area after the suspect fled the scene.

Federal officials say they have identified the name of a person of interest, but no arrest warrant has been issued at this time. “We do have good video footage of this individual,” investigators noted, while adding they are working to confirm the suspect’s identity before releasing further details.
