During the Germanic Iron Age GHOST WARRIORS were believed to be superior fighters at night, camouflaging their bodies and shields in solid black paint, and striking their enemies using the dark forest nights as their cover. Interestingly in similarity, there is a Netherworld army spoken of in the Icelandic Edda. They are a dark army of the dead, written as black figures, marching from Hel under the the power of SURT (the black one) into the great battle of Ragnarök.
