Chapter 2, Shloka 2.6:
“We do not know what is better for us—to win or to be defeated. Even after killing them, we do not wish to live. Yet the very sons of Dhritarashtra, for whose sake we desire to live, now stand before us in battle.”

Arjuna’s heart trembles with confusion. Victory or defeat—what is greater? Standing against his own loved ones, he wonders if life itself will hold any meaning after such a war.

"हमें यह भी नहीं पता कि हमारे लिए क्या श्रेष्ठ है — जीत या हार। और जिन्हें मारकर हम जीना नहीं चाहते, वही आज युद्धभूमि में हमारे सामने खड़े हैं।"

अर्जुन के मन का मोह और संशय चरम पर है।
जीत का भी अर्थ नहीं, हार का भी अर्थ नहीं…
जब अपने ही सामने खड़े हों, तो युद्ध किसके लिए?
