Father Of Charlie Kirk Assassin Turns Him In, Authorities Say

The person authorities say shot and killed Charlie Kirk has been arrested.

22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson has been taken into custody for the assassination of Charlie Kirk

According to authorities Robinson confessed to his father, who is a a 27-year veteran of the Washington County Sheriff's Office

His father then secured his son, before contacting the US Marshalls to come pick him up.

Forensic details from the recovered rifle reveal engravings on the ammunition that point to transgender activism and antifascist extremism – ideologies that have long fueled the left's assaults on conservatives like kirk.

Forensics also recovered palm prints, a shoe imprint, and DNA traces left behind on the rooftop that the suspect was seen jumping off of after the assassination.

That evidence, according to the FBI, matches the suspect who is now in custody.
