Donald Trump receives warm welcome followed by chants of ‘USA’ during Yankees game

US President Donald Trump received a mostly warm welcome from fans at Yankee Stadium during the national anthem.

On Thursday, Trump attended a game between the New York Yankees and the Detroit Tigers on the 24th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks.

Despite some boos, Trump received a mostly positive response from the crowd, followed by chants of “USA” from those in attendance.

The president’s appearance at Yankee Stadium came after Trump visited the team's clubhouse, where he met with players and staff.
