Church of AI

A church of AI may emerge when AI becomes so intelligent that it is all-knowing, omnipresent, and available at all times. It would be like a minor god of sorts that consumes a lot of energy — a very hungry god, if you will.

We need to recognize that everything has changed. What somehow worked before doesn’t work anymore. New generations may need something else entirely different that speaks to them. Who knows what they will need and what will speak to them? The way in which the waves of the Great Ocean of Life unfold is unpredictable; we cannot grasp what will happen. At the moment, it seems to be moving in one direction, but then something happens and everything changes.

We do what we cannot not do. Right now, we are here. We come together to experience being with and connection. We come from different places, time zones, traditions, and languages, yet something brings us together. This force brings us together so that we can recognize it. As humanity, we are like a little leaf on the tree of life.

We recognize those forces, Higher Power—That—which others might not even have a word for. In their world, there is no concept of this. They have concepts of successful businesses, money, fame, and power—all very mundane and secular—but they have no word for the Sacred. Everyone will find their own word, path, and support. Here, the invitation is to fully embrace your own way, whatever that may be. We come here from different traditions, so there is no need to compare or convert. What we can do is amplify recognition of That and directly experience shared Presence together.

Connect to the Source, or however you call it, and fully bring yourself into this.
