How can you believe baptism is only symbolic?!

There are many Protestants who believe that baptism has nothing to do with the forgiveness of sins like it says in our Creed and is only a symbolic gesture. Baptists, Non-denominational Christians, and most Pentecostals, Reformed and Presbyterian churches believe this way. Heresy. The point of this video is to show how the denial of baptisms effectiveness is a man-made doctrine by heretical groups.

So, who denied the salvific role of baptism prior to the founding of Baptists, Non-denominational Christians, and most Pentecostals, Reformed and Presbyterian churches? Heretics, that’s who. These Christians align themselves with groups that denied the trinity, denied that Jesus was fully man and fully God, and those who reject the material world. Again, I’ve said it often: the madness of Protestantism. As Catholics we are called to profess the truth…be respectful, but don’t be shy…as always you have truth on your side!
