It looks like we had four deaths this week in the Department of Corrections. DOC continues having an unbelievable high death rates every week. It’s important to remind everyone the Department has made a policy of ending transparency and covering all incidents. Due to the DOC policy of cover up it is impossible to assess the Department’s overall conditions. Transparency is critical, DOC should admit to problems and openly address major failures. One of these major issues is the unwarranted firing and demotion of employees. Bobby has reached out to interim Director Justin Farris to offer to work to resolve employee issues. We hope that Director Farris will seek to address the challenges facing Oklahoma Corrections. Join JJ for this week’s update.
