Our Grief Is Love

Hello my friends. It's been a very sad couple of days for the Christian community, my self included. The news that Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10th, while holding a rally on the grounds of the Utah Valley University, came as a shock to many at home and around the world. A shock, yes, but not a surprise, because Jesus told His followers in Mat_24:9: "Then they shall deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake."

Charlie was fearless when it came to proclaiming his faith in Jesus Christ, and a very strong advocate in the pro life movement, speaking out against the infanticide that has been inflicted on millions of babies over the years through abortions.

"Our Grief Is Love" is my tribute to Charlie Kirk, who I have followed and highly respected for several years now. Unfortunately, the hate and insanity that has infected this world, will continue to fester and grow, until Jesus Christ returns. I pray that those who know and love the LORD, will be strong and of good courage during these difficult times.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Charlie's family and his many friends. Death is not the final frontier, and one day, when Jesus returns, the dead in Christ will be resurrected, to live forevermore with our Savior and King. This is the sure promise of God and the good news of the gospel of God's kingdom. I pray that we all be there. Shalom.
