Yesterday we talked about the six components of the armor of God: Helmet of Salvation, Breastplate of Righteousness, Belt of Truth, Shoes of Peace, Sword of the Spirit and Shield of Faith. All required components of standing firm as a Christian in this life.
What we did not dive into is the seventh weapon in Ephesians 6:18: Prayer!
Eph 6:17-20 “Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.[a]
19 And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike.[b] 20 I am in chains now, still preaching this message as God’s ambassador. So pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for him, as I should.”

Prayer connects us to the holy of holies, to the God most High.
God invites us to connect with him and to speak to our fears, needs and desires to deal with any situation. Prayer also allows us to intercede on behalf of others and to take on the fiery arrows from Satanic attacks be they personal attacks, on our families, finances, health, neighborhoods, communities, government, etc.

Eph 6:12 “… we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

When you pray, speak the Word God out into the atmosphere. Use it as a sword. Quote the WORD! Speak directly against all spiritual wickedness in high places and to any attacking rulers of darkness. Tell them what God says: Satan you are under my feet.

It is time for the Christians to rise up, speak out and operate in the authority given us through Jesus Christ. If the Christians do not or will not do it who will stand in the gap and protect our nation and our legacy?

Jesus has given us all authority over our enemies!

Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
