The 1970s were a really weird time; bell bottoms, psychedelics, wild hairdos, polyester, and Brazilians were completely unknown in North America. But children were able to enjoy the insanity, too, as evidenced by the guano-crazy toys that actually injured and killed some kids. As someone who grew up in that era, I’ll tell you all about it.
