Spirit bears are some of the rarest animals in the world. Spirit bears are not albino but are technically black bear, they posses a genetic mutation that has a lack of pigment in their fur. Spirit bears are mostly found in Great Bear National Forest in British Columbia. They are typically more successful at fishing because of their color, fish cannot see them as easily as darker bears. Native legend describes spirit bears as having sacred power, able to swim deep underwater, and lead people to magical places. You are lucky if you ever witness one in the forest. If you do, leave it alone, unless it wants you to follow....
