UN emergency session on Doha attack: Security Council members condemn Israeli strike

Member countries of the UN Security Council have roundly condemned Israel's attack on Hamas leaders in Doha. They made the comments at an emergency session on Tuesday's strikes. Qatar's Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said it shows Israel wants to sabotage peace efforts. He said despite the attack, Qatar will continue to play a diplomatic role for peace. The strike targeted Hamas negotiators as they gathered to discuss a ceasefire proposal. Hamas leaders survived, but six people were killed.
