Beginning of September Catches!

Hey everyone! It’s hard to believe we’re already in September! This month has kicked off a bit slowly, which seems to be the trend lately. However, I’ve come across some fascinating things that I’m excited to share with you. In this video, I’ll take you through my recent experiences, highlighting the positives amidst the slow start. Let’s dive into what September has in store and uncover some hidden gems together!

This week marked the somber 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, a day that changed our nation forever. In this video, we express our deep gratitude to the first responders who bravely faced unimaginable dangers to keep us safe. We honor those who lost their lives at Ground Zero and those who have suffered from health issues as a result of their courageous work. We also extend our thoughts and prayers to the families who continue to grieve the loss of their loved ones, recognizing the ongoing pain they experience. May we all find solace in remembering those we lost and may they rest in peace.

I am aware the tribute says 21 years. I recycle it year to year, and there's no way for me to edit it. Also, you will notice a fireman from Rescue 1 in the tribute. That is my neighbor Gerry Nevins. He was called to the scene on 9/11 to assist with the rescue efforts. Unfortunately, while doing so, he and the rest of the members of Rescue 1, were crushed by the South Tower after its collapse, and that is why I include him in the tribute.
