Creepy Lighthouses and Abandoned Lime Kilns in Mindarie, Perth. Australia

In the middle of the suburb of Mindarie, hidden among the houses, I found two curious pieces of history: Cooper’s lime kilns, once used to bake limestone. But what caught my attention the most were two strange lighthouses —standing far from the sea, looking like cyclopean robots with their mouths open. Nobody seems to know who built them or why they’re here. Their eerie presence makes the place feel mysterious and unsettling.
