📹⚡️Interesting footage of the firing operation of a 9P140 (“9П140”) combat vehicle from the 9K57 Uragan MLRS, belonging to the "Dnepr" Group, on the Kherson operational axis, recorded by the MWIR-range thermal imaging system of a crew member from a covering counter-drone unit.

Particular attention is drawn to the high IR signature of the 220 mm launch rails after the launch of 9M27F rockets, which can be detected by the IR sensors of the multispectral electro-optical modules on enemy Shark-M UAVs at a distance of 20–30 km.

This is the second argument in favor of equipping the transport-launch modules of the 9K57 Uragan MLRS with counter-drone “covers” that shield the IR signature of the launch containers and reduce their detection range by orders of magnitude. The first argument is the increase in the shaped-charge resistance of the Uragan MLRS launch containers through spaced protection.
