California Sheriff's Do Good Job Protecting & Serving - Earning a Donut

On July 31st deputies from the Hacienda Heights, CA sheriffs department responded to a family disturbance involving a person armed with knives. They heard screams for help and breached the door

"Callers reported that a male suspect had choked a female family member, armed himself with two knives, blocked a doorway, and charged at another family member. The suspect was later identified as 57-year-old Ramon Flores.

When deputies arrived, they heard a woman screaming inside the residence. They forced entry through the front door and encountered Flores in a hallway holding a knife in each hand. Deputies repeatedly ordered him to stop, but he refused and charged toward them. A deputy-involved shooting occurred.

Flores was struck by gunfire and fell to the ground. Deputies immediately rendered medical aid until Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased."
