God's Psalm - Part 3: Christ Our Rock (Deut. 32) John Young, Community Baptist Church, Vicksburg MI

Our Rock is not their rock! In Part 3 of God's Song, we learn from God that even within Israel, His Holy Nation, is a generation of vipers who do not have the spot of His children. God emphasizes to them that each individual (both within His nation and throughout all the world) has a choice to make. They can be his Child and choose to be blessed by Him, or they can bless themselves in the heart of their own imaginations and be cursed as an evil generation. In this we are shown the contrast between these two spiritual generations and the choice we all have to make to be born again before God. We also deal with the foundational and prominent Rock theology of Scripture that is developed from the concept of the Rock from the passage of Deuteronomy 32.

In this message we also show how the New Testament doctrine of faith is established from the clear teaching of God. Showing that the Mount Sini law is incomplete if not coupled with the second law of faith as presented in the Song of God. Jews who reject the Rock that is Christ yet claim to hold to the law are incomplete because they declined to hear this doctrine of God. In this we see the Jewish nation is incomplete until they will trust on Jesus Christ as their Saviour, as their Rock!
