In Australia Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) acknowledges that severe adverse events are underreported around the world, estimating that a remarkable 90-95% of adverse events are not reported to regulators.
In the UK, their government yellow card reporting system website stated that only 10% of serious reactions are reported, while 2-4% of non-serious reactions are reported to the system. (Gunzelman, 2023).
