Today we’re diving into the world of Jacob Grey Firearms and taking a closer look at two of their standout double stack 1911s — the HEX and the NOX.

The next day, I got hands-on with the NOX at the public Range Day at XCal in Ashburn, VA. What made this experience even more special is that Jacob Grey himself walked me through the features of the NOX while I shot his personal pre-production model. It’s not often you see a firearm brand owner that involved — and his passion really shows in the final product.
