They just released new images of a massive structure beneath Stonehenge.

On the seventh of September twenty fifteen, researchers announced one of the most extraordinary discoveries in British archaeology.

Evidence emerged of a vast prehistoric monument buried beneath the ground, located less than a mile and a half from Stonehenge.

This monument, hidden for thousands of years, is estimated to be fifteen times the size of Stonehenge itself.

The revelation came from the Stonehenge Hidden Landscapes Project, a team of British archaeologists who used advanced multi-sensor technologies to reveal the hidden past.
