Let’s squash a lazy myth. People love to say the Revolution was just rich white dudes in wigs yelling at King George like it was a bad HOA meeting. Wrong. The truth? America’s fight for independence looked more like the world’s most chaotic team-up movie.

Black patriots. Native warriors. Women hauling cannons. Irish immigrants. Jewish financiers. Spanish governors. And a teenage French aristocrat. This wasn’t just one group’s fight — it was a whole mess of people from every background you can think of.
