Chapter 16 is all about the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), but there is a unique Hebrew word, עֲזָאזֵל ʿăzā'zēl, which appears four times in chapter 16 (and nowhere else in our Bible). Some Bibles translate the word as "scapegoat" while others keep the Hebrew word Azazel; what does this mean? What is the scapegoat and how is it part of the Day of Atonement?
