Why Are Christians Motivated to Be Good? | Sam Shamoun

Muslim asks Sam Shamoun what motivates Christians to keep doing good and following Gods will according to the bible ?

The Bible is clear that since he loves us he showed us by endlessly loving us even when we reject him and also even pay the price of sin for us and because of that love he had for us and are in a covenant relationship with Jesus we must do these things because we love him . God also is not required to give rewards to his believers but because of his love for creation he does it anyway because we do what we are supposed to do just like a husband and a wife do things for each other because they respect and love each other. But as mentioned doing evil and bad and knowing this can cause more severe punishments instead of rewards
