Project 8760 | Part 31 of 730 | 8400 Hours to Zero

Fifteen days. Half a month. We have crossed the threshold of 360 completed hours, and the number of remaining hours has become a satisfyingly round figure. This moment invites reflection on the texture of time.

Is time smooth and flowing like a river, or is it granular and divided into moments, as our 12-hour blocks suggest? This project shows that it is both. We observe an uninterrupted continuum, but we experience it in discrete, countable parts. It's like standing on the shore of an ocean—you see one, vast body of water, but you feel individual, separate drops on your skin. In this part of the project, we appreciate this dual nature of time—its smooth entirety and its granular, tangible structure.
