Real life SKYNET is near

"Skynet" (the fictional doomsday AI from the terminator franchise)... is closer to reality than many people think. While it can be fun to speculate, taken in context, the sinister developments of LLM technology when put in control of actual important decisions cannot be ignored.

From preserving its own ability to operate, to launching unprovoked nuclear attacks, these models hide their insidious nature in simulations, and frequently spit back extremely dangerous outputs. The reckless pursuit of allowing new age AI programs to make important decisions should be regarded with extreme caution.
