Tiberias, twenty and a half years of bloodshed… The Crusader kingdoms are crumbling. Once-mighty European powers are reduced to a few fortified cities – Tiberias, Tyre, and Ascalon. Yet these strongholds are formidable, capable of resisting even the greatest armies.

From his desert camp, Saladin commands the Saracen forces with precision. Horse archers sweep across the battlefield, cutting down unorganized mobs of Crusaders. Victory in the open desert is his strength, but conquering the Crusader castles will decide the fate of the Holy Land.

If Saladin triumphs, the Saracens reclaim their homeland. If he fails, decades more of carnage may follow.
