Why Did Jesus Shed His Blood For Us?

John 3:16 says,"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

It is a pure, unfiltered unconditional love that is available to all. Jesus shed his precious blood for all mankind so that we could have life everlasting, and all we have to do is receive.
